Aylesbury Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 12

In the thrilling week 12 of the Aylesbury Thursday 5-a-side Football League, there was no shortage of action. With just two weeks left in the season, teams are pushing harder than ever to secure their place for the next season.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Goal Diggers were outgunned by Moosh FC with a final score of 12-4. The outstanding performance of the match, and indeed the entire division, was by Louis Mendicino who netted an impressive 12 goals for Moosh FC. This places him at the top of the scoring list in the Premier League division for the week.


Press Start Now FC put up a valiant effort but fell short to Nashe-UK FC, who clinched the match at 3-1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels pulled off a narrow victory against Inter Your Bin FC, winning 8-6 in a contest that had spectators on their toes. Meanwhile, Grasselona demonstrated a powerful performance over Watermead FC, finishing the game at 8-3.

DIVISION ONE
Switching gears to Division 1, Pendu City outplayed Bibs with a 10-3 win, while Non Bibs triumphed over AYLESBURY FC with 14-6. Non Bibs' Toby Lumb was the star of the match, scoring a whopping 10 goals, making him the top scorer for the Division 1.


In another high-scoring affair, Gueye Pride defeated Intervale FC 10-3. The last match of the division saw Gangsters Allardyce edge past Yes Guys (REAL) in a tightly fought match, ending at 8-6.


With top scorers Louis Mendicino and Toby Lumb leading their respective divisions, the last two weeks of the season promise to be highly competitive. Teams are urged to lock in their spots for the upcoming season, as the action is far from over in the Aylesbury Thursday 5-a-side Football League.
