Monday 17th July - Bognor Regis Round-Up
It was another good evening's football overall in the Bognor Regis Monday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring a late cancellation from Pique Blinders who return to action on Monday 24th July.
In the Premier League division, two matches took place that left fans on the edge of their seats. The first match between Likely Lads FC and 2 Goals 1 Cup ended in a goalless draw, highlighting the solid defensive performances from both teams. Despite the lack of goals, the game was filled with intensity and close calls, demonstrating the high level of competition in the division.
The second Premier League match featured Egg & Cresswell taking on Remis U11s. It was a thrilling encounter that saw Egg & Cresswell emerge as the victors with a 2-1 scoreline. Both teams fought tooth and nail for every ball, but it was Egg & Cresswell who managed to find the back of the net twice, securing a crucial win in the process. Jayden and Alfie finding the net for Egg & Cresswell, whilst Luca found the net for the debutants.
