Monday 21st February - Bognor Regis Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Bognor Regis Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their first fixture of the new campaign. 

New team FTF FC joined the league this week and had a tough start against Likely Lads FC.  The old stagers used their experience after many years playing in the league, they ran out 6-2 winners, but the new boys have something to build on for the season ahead.

Egg Mug Muffins got off to a flying start as they were 5-1 winners over Tiger FC this week, whilst Chiellini Con Carne got their season off to a winning start as they were 2-1 victors against Pique Blinders.

The top two, who battled it out all season long last time out, came up against each other for the first game of the new campaign.  Such is the closeness in these two teams neither FC Molinari nor Chateuneuf Du Pape could be separated in a game that ended 1-1.
