Monday 10th May - Bognor Regis Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Bognor Regis Monday 6 a side league after we returned from the early May Bank Holiday.  We were delighted to see all 8 teams in attendance for their matches as usual and some tightly contested games played for the most part.

Performance of the night was from top of the table Likely Lads who showed no mercy in front of goal as they disposed of Egg Mug Muffins, a 7-0 win their reward for a clinical performance.

Chabin and Stacey leapfrogged this weeks opposition as they edged a thriller against Tiger FC 3-2, Chabin now sit in second at Tigers expense who drop to third.

Club Tropicana Drinks FC and Pique Blinders played out an entertaining game but nothing could separate the two and they ended up drawing 2-2, they sit in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Betty Swallocks moved from the foot of the table at the expense of this weeks opponents Egg Fried Reus, they drop to the bottom after a narrow 1-0 defeat.

We wish all teams good luck heading into game week 7 which will see the half way point of the season in the Bognor Regis league.  We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment which helps the league run so well for all involved.
