Sports fans were treated to a thrilling week of football as teams clashed in the 12th week of the season for the Preston Monday Football League. The matches were held across three divisions; Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, with teams leaving no stone unturned in their bid to claim dominance.

In the Premier League, Big Fish United showed their superiority with a resounding 6-2 victory over AFC Gillingham And Cheese Sandwich. The crowd was also treated to a narrow victory by SamAndie’s 91s who pipped Deepdale Folks 3-2. Meanwhile, Fabios 6 managed to hold their lead, defeating Fc Barge 5-3.

Over in Division 1, Washer Machens overcame TF MERCHANTS 3-1, while Tyson’s Army recorded a clean 2-0 victory against Old Boys.

The action was just as intense in Division 2, with 50 Shades Of Marc Gray triumphing 7-3 over Egg Fried Riis. Paralytic Athletic earned a hard-fought 6-4 victory against Millers FC, while We Go Again FC bagged a neat 2-0 win against Perkyboys. Edwins Six Offenders earned a well-deserved 3-0 win over Ptown FC.

With only two weeks left of the season, teams will be looking to secure their place for the next season. The top scorers for each division are yet to be announced, however, the competition is clearly heating up and we can expect an exciting finish to the season.
