The ninth week of the Nottingham Monday 5-a-side Football League brought non-stop action last night as teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 battled it out on the pitch. All teams were in attendance with the exception of Gooners who will return to competitive action next week.
In the Premier League, Slops In Notts made a statement with a blistering 17-7 victory over FNF United. The match was marked by swift counter-attacks and top-tier teamwork from the victors, who now have their eyes firmly set on the top spot.
On another front, TC'S World put on a strong performance against NG9, finishing the encounter with a clear 11-3 win. The team’s incredible striking force was on full display as they effortlessly found the back of the net multiple times throughout the game.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the matches were tightly contested with goals flowing freely. NVG UNITED edged out Not A Scooby in a captivating match that resulted in a 6-4 victory in favour of NVG UNITED. It was a hard-fought game with both teams showcasing their best football, but NVG UNITED ultimately came out on top.
In a nail-biting finish, Undocumented FC squeaked past Son Of A Pitch with a 9-8 victory. The match was a testament to the league's competitive spirit with both squads going all out in search of the win.
