Andy's Diamondz extend their lead at the top

Firstly another huge thank you to all the lads tonight who were tough competitors and each match showed off a great standard of football. The night was kicked off with league leaders and the currently unbeaten ANDY's DIAMONDZ who were facing a strong opposition in UPLYME & SINKER who themselves have league winning pedigree. This match up did not disappoint and it was the league leaders who did enough to see themselves pull 3 points clear nat the top with only 3 games to play. UPLYME & SINKER had more than enough chances and maybe on another night these would have been taken to get something out of the game. From one end of the table to the other THE ROYS took on THE VIKINGS and both sides who at times have struggled for goals both got on the scoresheet. THE ROYS did manage a hatful of strikes this evening and this matched with a tight defense was enough to see them record a much needed victory and begin a late charge fo that mid table cluster. HFC RAIDERS were hosting FARMERS WEEKLY in what looked to be the game of the night however both sides cancelled each other out in this very tactical affair. FARMERS WEEKLY were keen to pile the pressure on the league leaders but were caught on the counter attack by the flair of HFC RAIDERS who tucked many neat move away to run out 3-1 winners on the night. HFC now well within reach of that 3rd spot whilst FARMERS WEEKLY need to show their 'Bouncebackability' next week. YARCOMBE ATHLETIC and NYC FC showed why they too are in the running to finish high up the table and this edgy contest saw NYC FC claim the 1-0 victory they needed but take nothing away from YARCOMBE ATHLETIC this evening as they were excellent.

Another big well done to all involved including our awesome (yes I said awesome) referees who managed each game brilliantly as always.
