AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE FOOTBALL

It was match night five last night in our Axminster 6 a side league played at Axminster Leisure Centre and as always we had an entertaining evening of football. All 12 teams were there and our officials Lance , Jason, Simon & Dan did a great job managing a damp match night. Lets have a look at what happened.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Portsmuff maintain their 100% win record with a 7 - 1 result against Uplyme & Sinker with Ben Smith in fine goal scoring form netting 4. Staro won 5 - 0 against Nice To Michu and a tight 1 - 1 draw helped neither Crouch Potato or Farmers Weekly as they both lost ground on the leaders.

DIVISION ONE

The 3 point lead is repeated in Division One where Lionel Moosey continue their title charge with a 6 - 2 win over The Roys. Quaresma Balls remain their nearest challengers and they also picked up a win this week, 2 - 1 over A&C Dads. Vikings pulled out of the bottom two with an important 1 - 0 win against 6 A Cider.
