AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE - WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

We had another brilliant night down at Axminster Leisure Centre last night for week two of our new season of 6 a side in.

It was great to be back to a full line up after a couple of team missed last weeks games. Here's what happened in each of our two divisions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Staro are making the early running in the top flight this season with 2 good wins under their belts already. Last night they beat Portsmuff 5 - 3 while Lionel Moosey edged a great game against current champions Crouch Potatoes to join them on 4 points. Crouchy find themselves in the relegation zone alongside 6 a cider who are also still looking for their 1st prem point having gone down 5 - 2 to Farmers Weekly 

DIVISION ONE

Uplyme & Sinker's mission to return to the top table has started perfectly with a 2nd win on the trot to start the season. They got the better of Vikings last night 4 - 2 while A&C Dads kicked off their season with a tidy 2 - 1 win against Nice to Michu. Foxes met The Roys in a really tight game that ended in a very fair 1 - 1 draw to give both sides their 1st point of the season.
