AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE - WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Both our Wednesday night 6 a side league leaders in Axminster maintained their 100% records with important wins last night as our team played out week 3 of the season at Axminster Leisure Centre. 

Last seasons Div One Champions Lionel Moosey are taking the prem by a storm and now have 3 wins under their belts to sit top of the table. They ended fellow title hopefuls Staro's great start to the season with a 7 - 3 win to open up a 2 point gap. Former Champions Portsmuff are also sat on 4 points after their brilliant 8 - 1 win over 6 A Cider. Farmers Weekly returned this week and inflicted a 4 - 2 defeat on Crouch Potatoes who surprisingly still search for their 1st point of a difficult season so far. 

It's a similar story in Division One where Uplyme and Sinker remain the only side with maximum points and they too have a 2 point lead on the chasing pack. This week they got past A&C Dads 3 - 0 while Vikings won a high scoring affair 8 - 4 against The Roys to sit 2nd. Nice to Michu match their 4 points with just goal difference seeing them 3rd after a good 3 - 1 win over Foxes.
