AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE - WEEKLY ROUND UP

We had another great night down at Axminster Leisure Centre last night for week three of our season of 6 a side.

Despite the poor weather, all our teams were there as usual, and some great games were played. Check out the results of this week’s games below.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Portsmuff came out on top in the 1st Vs 2nd encounter to edge a couple of points ahead of Crouch Potatoes with a 3 - 2 win over them this week. Farmers Weekly got their 1st win with a brilliant 5 - 4 result against Nice To Michu and last seasons champions Uplyme & Sinker registered their 1st point against Staro in an excellent 2 - 2 draw. This league is as competitive as any and you feel like anyone could beat anyone which makes for a great campaign and exciting football every week, well done to all out teams in the premier league. 

DIVISION ONE

Lionel Moosey maintained their winning start with another 2 points, picked up with a good 3 - 0 win over Quaresma Balls. A&C Dads won 2 - 0 against 6 A Cider while Vikings got their points tally up and running with a well earned win over The Roys. Again it's looking like a very competitive division but Moosey have made a break away at the top and it's down to the rest to try and claw them back over the next few weeks. Brilliant stuff from all our teams at the start of this season.
