Axminster Wednesday 6 a side - WEEK 4 ROUND UP

2024 got off to a flying start in last night as our Wednesday 6 a side leagues returned to action. Axminster's 6 a side Football League was amongst them and witnessed its fourth week of an exhilarating season in the Premier League Division. Teams battled it out with all the tenacity of professional football, leaving the field with some fascinating results.

In a significant clash, A&C Dads FC was challenged by the formidable Foxes who secured a convincing 4-1 win. Despite trailing behind, A&C Dads FC showcased a strong spirit, promising a thrilling comeback in the next fixtures.

The match between Farmers Weekly and Lionel Moosey FC ended in a thrilling draw, with both teams scoring 4 goals each. Both teams demonstrated solid teamwork and determination, setting a promising tone for the rest of the season.

However, the most striking outcome was produced by CUFC, who delivered a stunning performance against Nice To Michu, winning with a jaw-dropping score of 13-1. This victory marks CUFC as a force to be reckoned with.

Vikings FC, unfortunately, could not stand up against the prowess of Staro FC, who shut them out with a score line of 6-0. Staro FC's seamless coordination and strategic play kicking off the new year in style and rounding of a brilliant night of games in Axminster.

The highlight of the week was CUFC’s Owen Ford, who scored a staggering total of six goals in their match, making him the top scorer in the Premier League Division for the week.

Week 4 of the Axminster Wednesday League was a testament to the spirit of football, with every team putting forth their best performances.
