In a dazzling display of passion and precision, the Axminster Wednesday Football League concluded its 9th week, bringing an end to this season. Teams from the Premier League division showcased their skills, delivering performances that champions are made of.

In one of the most anticipated matches of the night, CUFC trounced A&C Dads FC, scoring an impressive eight goals against two. Showing their dominance, CUFC's performance set the tone for an exciting and competitive final week.

In another matchup that had fans on the edge of their seats, Lionel Moosey FC overcame The Roy's in a thrilling 5-2 showdown. Meanwhile, Uplyme & Sinker triumphed over Foxes with a 3-1 victory, and Farmers Weekly outplayed Vikings FC in a 5-2 win.

Lionel Moosey FC emerged as victors of the Premier League division, wrapping up the season with an outstanding total of 14 points and seven wins. The team's relentless pursuit of excellence made them the undeniable champions of this season. CUFC pushed them hard though and in the end it was only a superior goal difference that allowed Moosey to lift the trophy. Uplyme & Sinker were 3rd, just a point behind the top two and Staro ended 4th, again just a single point behind. 

Alex Wheatley takes home the golden boot prize for his tally of 23 goals this season. His remarkable efforts went a long way towards Uplyme & Sinker's great season and he will be looking to push his team on when the new campaign kick off next week. 

The teams have set a high benchmark for the future seasons of the Axminster Wednesday Football League. As we bid adieu to this season, we look forward to another round of breath taking action in the upcoming one which starts next week.
