LIONEL MOOSEY DEBUT IN AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE

We had a brilliant night of 6 a side in Axminster last night with all of our teams there and at full strength for the penultimate round of games of the season. Champions elect Uplyme & Sinker welcomed our newest side Lionel Moosey FC to the league in a tough opening game for them. Uplyme are now uncatchable following the 6 - 2 win with Farmers Weekly 4 points back still after their 4 - 1 win over Portsmuff. Quaresma Balls' late run of good form continued with a brilliant 3 - 1 win against Crouch Potatoes.

It would take something extraordinary to deny Staro FC the Division One title now as they lead by 2 points and boost a significantly superior goal difference over Nice To Michu. Both teams won last night with Staro relying on Tyler Allen's single goal to see them home against 6 A Cider while Michu had a more comfortable time against Vikings, winning 6 - 1 thanks to an Ajay Evans hat-trick. The Roys are well placed to finish outside the bottom two after their important win against A&C Dads who they leap frog over in the table with just a game to go.
