NEW SEASON UNDERWAY IN AXMINSTER

So good to start another season of 6 a side football in Axminster last night with all but one of our teams returning for another campaign. Quaresma Balls departed to focus on their studies and were replaced by Foxes who have been keen to get involved for a while and now get to take up a place in Division One. 

We did have a few teams missing this week because of seasonal work commitments but they will all return next week and everyone else got a game to kick off the season. Staro and Lionel Moosey took home 5 - 0 points wins while Portsmuff ensured champions Crouch Potatoes didn't make the kind of start they were looking for with a 2 - 0 win over them in the prem while in Division One Vikings made a flying start with a 10 - 3 win over A&C Dads. Uplyme and Sinker welcomed the new boys from Foxes with a 2 - 0 defeat and Nice To Michu take the early lead with a points win. 

Big thanks to everyone who was there to take part in the season launch night especially Lance and the refs, no doubt we will be back to full strength next week and this is the start of another brilliant season in Axminster.
