UPLYME & SINKER CHAMPIONS OF AXMINSTER 6 A SIDE

In the thrilling final week of the Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, spectators were treated to an exciting display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship on the pitch. This week's games saw some exhilarating matches and show-stopping performances in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In Premier League action, Staro FC showed their dominance with a comfortable 4-1 victory over UPLYME & SINKER, while Lionel Moosey FC outshone Vikings FC, scoring 6 goals to 2. The standout performer in the Premier League was undeniably Lionel Moosey FC's Alan, who found the back of the net thrice, securing his spot as the division's top scorer.

Despite the final week of the season defeat, UPLYME & SINKER were crowned as the winners of the Premier League division, finishing with an impressive 18 points and 9 wins.

Over in Division 1, the matches were no less riveting. The game between Nice To Michu and Crouch Potatoes was a nail-biter, ending with a narrow 5-4 win for the latter. Meanwhile, A&C Dads FC clinched a 3-2 victory over The Roy's. The top scorer in Division 1 was Jordan Fowler from Nice To Michu, who scored a commendable two goals.

Crouch Potatoes emerged as the triumphant team in Division 1, finishing the season with a strong 17 points and 8 wins.
