WEEK TWO OF SEASON IN AXMINSTER

We welcomed all our teams back to Axminster Leisure Centre last night for week two of our new season of 6 a side with a number of brilliant matches played as usual. Portsmuff and Crouch Potatoes make the early running at the top of the prem with 2 wins each while Staro and Michu had to settle for a point this week. The strength of this division is shown by the fact that last seasons champions are still hunting for their 1st win of the campaign.

Lionel Moosey have made a perfect start to their Division One season and are the only team with maximum points. This week they got the better of The Roys while 6 A Cider beat Vikings and Quaresma Balls were held by A&C Dads. It's early days but both our divisions are shaping nicely and it looks like we have a great season ahead. Well done to all our players for being part of the action this week, great work from the captains to keep your sides together and as always a massive thanks to Lance and the team who managed brilliantly despite being a man down after the late withdrawal of one of their colleagues.
