6 a side at Aylesbury vale academy returns!

And we are off!...

Firstly and most importantly!

Recording goal scorers and MOTM awards for each game is not something our referees are used to doing just yet, though they are trying! so please help both Wes (the referee) and Scott (the supervisor) by telling them your name and how many goals you scored, otherwise there’s the chance they could forget and the chance that your goals might not get counted towards the individual end of season award - golden boot!

Our 6 a side league at Aylesbury Vale Academy is officially back, now with a BIG improvement of 16 teams over 2 divisions!

I really hope with the separation of talent and quality, the league now becomes more competitive, fair and most importantly, more enjoyable for every team involved.

Lets get into our first night back after the bank holiday...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

I think we can all agree that only one team stands clear and rightly deserves our weekly prestigious award of team of the week” and that of course is handed to Ball Nation! Melvy N’Somi and his players really did make their intentions known on Monday night and I'm sure we can all agree, they mean business. Ball Nation have made it clear that they are here to win the league and this performance certainly backed that statement up. A very confident and convincing 10-1 smashing has now set the president for these guys...

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Hardly Athletic will be the second and final team to hold their heads high as team of  the week after getting their season off to the best possible start with a 8-3 win. These guys tell me that they are destined for the top division but are really out of form, so a performance like this certainly helps sort that out. They are another team that have made their intentions clear, so let’s keep an eye on their progress and see how long they can keep their league top spot!
