In an electrifying start to the new Aylesbury Monday 6-a-side Football League season, the teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions turned up the heat, delivering thrilling performances that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

PREMIER LEAGUE
The Premier League saw a flurry of activity with SPARTANS battling Dog World FC in a high scoring match that ended with Dog World FC claiming a 6-3 victory. In another exciting match-up, Just Put Matip In narrowly edged out Lads On Toure 5-4, while the Killer Bees stung Lads & Dads FC with a 3-1 win.

The top scorer in the Premier League was Ben Mayer of Dog World FC, who showed extraordinary skill and prowess on the field, scoring a total of 3 goals and leading his team to a season-opening victory.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Quarrendon Fc steamrolled past AFC DarkFruits with an impressive 9-0 win. Paisley FC secured a 3-1 victory against Choppers while Norma Care FC and Elm Green Grads were locked in a tight struggle that ended in a 2-1 win for Norma Care FC. In the last match of the division, Leave My Arcelona outclassed Multiple Scoregasms with a 5-1 triumph.

Liam Hopcroft of Leave My Arcelona emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, netting 3 goals and proving to be a key player in his team’s resounding success.
