Week 13 of the Aylesbury Monday Football League saw action-packed competition across its two divisions: Premier League and Division 1.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Dog World FC and Killer Bees provided a thrilling spectacle, with the Bees narrowly edging out Dog World FC 4-3. The game was marked by a remarkable performance from Ben Mayer of Dog World FC, who earned the top scorer title for the week with a hat-trick. However, his efforts could not secure victory for his team.
In another high-scoring game, Lads On Toure showcased their offensive prowess by trouncing Queens Park Strangers 7-3. This clash was a clear demonstration of the competitive spirit in the Premier League division.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the drama continued with a tightly contested match between QPRcelona and Shane Schlong, finishing at 1-1. Choppers and Norma Care FC had a closely fought battle, with Norma Care FC emerging victors with a 3-2 win. Gabriel of Norma Care FC put in a standout performance, netting two goals to be named the top scorer in the division.
The most emphatic victory of the day, however, came from Quarrendon Fc who hammered Fulfilment Ltd FC 7-1 in a dominant display of football.
The Aylesbury Monday Football League continues to deliver exciting games week after week with teams showing a tenacious quest for the top spot. As we move into Week 14, the competition is heating up and all teams will be looking to put their best foot forward. With top scorers like Ben Mayer and Gabriel showing their goal-scoring prowess, spectators can look forward to more thrilling games in the weeks to come.
