Aylesbury Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship, the Aylesbury Monday 6-a-side Football league resumed for its fifth week, featuring a series of intense matchups in the Premier League division.


The evening kicked off with Elm Court facing Biscoff Backpost, in what turned out to be a one-sided affair. Biscoff Backpost proved to be unstoppable, cruising to a 5-0 victory against Elm Court. The team showed off their tactical acumen and exceptional teamwork, leaving their opponents with no answers.


In a more closely contested encounter, Norma Care FC narrowly edged Queens Park Strangers with a 2-1 triumph. It was a nail-biting encounter, with Norma Care FC displaying great tenacity to hold on to their slender lead and claim the much-needed points.


However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the clash between Multiple Scoregasms and Rat Boys. In an extraordinary showcase of offensive prowess, Rat Boys stormed to a massive 15-2 victory over Multiple Scoregasms. The Rat Boys proved to be an offensive juggernaut, leaving the Scoregasms defense reeling.


Although individual top scorers were not disclosed, it's clear that the Rat Boys' forward line had a field day, contributing significantly to the high scoreline. Biscoff Backpost also had their attackers in fine form with their comprehensive victory over Elm Court.


As the league goes into its sixth week, the teams will be looking to refine their strategies and strengthen their squads.
