UNATHLETICO CHAMPIONS OF AYLESBURY 6 A SIDE

We returned from the bank holiday break to wrap up the amazing season of 6 a side football at Vale Academy as our Aylesbury season ended in dramatic style with the title going to Unathletico Madrid. In an incredibly tight title race the champions were pushed all the way by Numero Uno who's plus 30 goal difference fell just 3 short of that of Unathletico. Both sides gave it everything on the final night this week with Numero Uno winning 9 - 3 against Leavemyassalona to improve their GD by 6 which they could only have hoped would be enough. Unathletico turned it on against Toe Munchin Gladbach though and also added 6 to their GD with a resounding 11 - 5 win to secure the title. Gladbach go down to Division One and the 5 - 0 points win for Zones of Relegation was enough to keep them in the top flight for another season. Congratulations to Dale Grew who takes the golden boot for the Premier League with his 15 goals for Numero Uno.

The Division One title was already firmly in the hands of Shane Schlong before a ball was kicked this week. The league leaders sealed the job with a comfortable 3 - 0 win over Only Put Matip In while runners up Aylesbury Athletic also rounded off the season with a win, beating Kroos Control 3 - 2. Fingus Fiddlers finished 3rd having played out an entertaining 2 - 2 draw with Multiple Scoregasms. Alex Stepney's fine season in front of goal lands the Shane Schlong striker the golden boot with 20 goals, he will need to maintain that kind of form when his side kick off their Premier League campaign next Monday.

So thats it, the season is finished and we turn our attention to the next one which will start straight away next week. We have a new team to welcome which will be announced soon but hopefully we can have another brilliant campaign just like this one has been.

Thank you to all our teams, especially the captains for being part of the action and as always its a massive thankyou to our refs Scott, Wes and Tony this season. The leagues wouldn't run without their amazing work on the whistles and we are always appreciative of their efforts.

Well done again to the winning teams and good luck to everyone for the new season.
