Noodles & Chant win 5 on the bounce at Gosport 6 a side

Thank you to all the teams that made it to our Gosport Wednesday 6 a side league at Bay House School. We did have a few teams who were unable to make it due to self-isolating rules and positive Covid tests. Leisure Leagues now require at least 3 players to provide proof by way of screenshot of confirmations to be sent in. One or two players isolating is not enough to call off a match. The laws regarding this will be changing shortly so only a positive test result will mean someone has to self isolate. We will of course work through this, teams will just have to accept that they might have to have a points match now and again.

Anyway enough of that, lets have a look at the results. So at the top of the Premier League both Pogba and Too Many Goals couldn't make it so the result goes in a 0-0. This keeps Too Many Goals top of the league however it gave Skertals a chance to close the gap. They just about managed it after a fantastic match with another strong side in Steaming Bats. Skertals came out of it victorious with a 6-5 win to go two points behind Too Many Goals. Pique Blinders had a points match win due to JJ Elite having to vacate the league. We hope to have a new team in for next week.

Noodles And Chant continue with a 100% record as they remain top of Div 1 after a 6-3 win over Past It. Cole Wright with 4 goals for the leaders in this one. The Untouchables got back to winning ways with a 9-5 victory against Damo's Dynamo's with captain Leo King grabbing 5 goals. Does It Got Six picked up a points match win with TeamPB having to leave, again we do have a team on the waiting list so we hope they can start next week.

Club Tropicana Drinks FC are having to self isolate and absolutely gutted about this as virtually the whole team have been wiped out. They do hang onto top spot though and hope that their early season form will be enough for them to win the title still. Fish Fingers were able to close the gap to two points with a 4-0 win over Diop It Like It's Hot, Nathan Stitch with a hat-trick to add to a strike from Oli Robins. In the other match Breadrins Curse cruised to a 8-0 win over Centurion, captain Zak Ware lead the charge with a hat-trick while Taylor Edwards and Ryan Rochester bagged braces. 

Runaway leaders Only Fools and Scorers continue to win in Div 3 as they defeated Man Tity 3-0 with goals from Pete 2 and Dean. Win Or Booze rose into the promotion places as they overcame Gurnley 6-3. Booze's goals from Shorter 2, Coleman 2, Galloway and Bath. Gurnley scorers were Stryder, Skipper and Wallace. Finally the other match ended in a narrow 2-1 win for Multiple Scoregasms against Pass Out & Dribble.
