The Gosport Wednesday 6 a side football league kicked off its first week of the season yesterday with some thrilling matches. Players were treated to an action-packed evening of football as the teams battled it out in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Van Brockhurst clashed with Murder On Zidanes Floor, but unfortunately failed to score against their opponents, who won 2 - 0. Only Fools And Scorers put in a great performance, scoring 6 goals past The Untouchaballs, who managed to score two themselves. Ressievoir Dogs were on top form, beating The Breadrins Curse FC 13 - 1, and Scran Frank managed to edge past Yard Boiz FC, winning 5 - 3.

In Division 1, Yma O Hyd put on a dominant display, scoring 8 goals against Bweaty Swollocks FC, who managed to score two themselves. Six Offenders scored 6 against Cunnilingard, who managed to score 2 goals themselves. Unathletico Madrid took the points 5 - 0 against Fish Fingers FC who were away. In the final match of the evening, Snatit FC put in an impressive performance, scoring an incredible 10 goals against Gosham FC, who managed to score 2 themselves.
