Gosport Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 2

Our Gosport Wednesday night 6-a-side football league unfolded with a series of thrilling matches that kept us on the edge of our seats last night at Bay House School.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, The Backstreet Moyes dominated with a 6-2 victory over Shut The FAcup. The team displayed an impressive combination of tactical acumen and individual brilliance. The similar scoreline was noticed in the match between Snatit FC and Lucky 7, where Snatit FC took home the glory with a 6-2 win. Suck Umtities and Mash Gobblers engaged in a fierce contest that ended in a 3-3 draw, showcasing the competitive spirit that defines the Premier League.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the standout match was between Fish Fingers FC and Solent United, with the latter securing a 3-1 victory. Murder On Zidanes Floor managed to edge out Notinher Forest 4-2, while Bowen Arrows and Haven't Jota Clue ended their game on a 3-3 draw, adding to the excitement of the league.

DIVISION TWO

Meanwhile, Division 2 witnessed Jewventus making a statement with a 5-0 clean sweep against Bikes In Kitchen. Vicious Villigers and Heron United battled it out, with the Villigers clinching a close 2-1 win. The most sensational game of the night, however, was between Queens Park Strangers and AC Me Rollin, where AC Me Rollin emerged victorious with a whopping 7-2 win. Charlie Bond of AC Me Rollin stole the show, securing the top scorer title in Division 2 with a total of 3 goals.

The second week of the season has left us eagerly anticipating the matches to come. If this week's games are anything to go by, we can expect some top-notch football in the forthcoming weeks.

Thank you to Kiefer for running the evening and thank you to all of our refs and players. Good luck next week!
