In an action-packed week 4 of the Gosport Wednesday 6-a-side Football league, local football enthusiasts were treated to an exciting display of skill, teamwork and unforgettable highlights.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the highly competitive Premier League division, For Fuchs Sake delivered a stunning 5-0 triumph over Bowen Arrows, while Tom Tom FC edged out Murder On Zidanes Floor in a thrilling 5-3 encounter. However, the most sensational performance came from Snatit FC, who dominated The Backstreet Moyes with a 12-1 victory. The headlines were stolen by Josh Denning of Murder On Zidanes Floor who emerged as the week's top scorer with an impressive haul of three goals.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Fish Fingers FC secured a solid 2-0 victory over Haven't Jota Clue, while Suck Umtities overpowered Heron United 5-3. Solent United also clinched a 3-1 win against Lucky 7. The standout performer in this division was Max Donellan from Suck Umtities who matched the Premier League's top scorer with three goals of his own.
DIVISION TWO
Over in Division 2, NWO stunned AC Me Rollin with a massive 8-0 victory, while Parcar FC narrowly defeated Wiggums Worriors 4-3. Vicious Villigers also edged out Queens Park Strangers in a close 4-3 contest. It was Sean Barnes of NWO who walked away with the top scorer honours in this division, netting three goals for his team.
The league continues to offer an exhilarating showcase of talent each week, and fans are already eagerly anticipating the next round of fixtures. As we move into Week 5, we're sure to see more captivating performances from these teams, as they continue their exciting journey through the season.
