GOSPORT WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 9

The Gosport Wednesday 6-a-side football league saw an intense week of action as teams in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions clashed in Week 9 of the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Murder On Zidanes Floor made their presence known on the pitch with a commanding 3-0 victory over The Breadrins Curse FC. The Untouchaballs showed their scoring prowess with a dominant 6-1 triumph over Scran Frank to close the gap a the top to a point. Lastly, GBCCFC and leaders Only Fools and Scorers battled to a 1-1 draw, proving that every point counts as the season unfolds.

Leo King was the star of the show in the Premier League, netting two crucial goals for The Untouchaballs. His fantastic performance lights up the Premier League's top scorers chart, further solidifying The Untouchaballs' strong position in the league.

DIVISION ONE

In the Division 1 fixtures, Bweaty Swollocks FC emerged victorious over Hex FC with a 4-1 win. Leaders Fiorentina Turner outscored Gosham FC 6-3 in a goal-filled match. Snatit FC and Fish Fingers FC shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw while Saka Potatoes squeezed past South Coast Rejects with a 1-0 win.

Jake Darcy was the standout player in Division 1, scoring two goals for Snatit FC, thus leading the pack of top scorers in the division.

The most valued player for the week was Philip Charman of Saka Potatoes, who proved instrumental in their narrow victory against South Coast Rejects.
