Great start to our new Gosport 6 a side league

It was a great start to our new Bay House School Gosport 6 a side league last night with all 12 teams arriving to kick off the season. Despite getting bitten to hell by midges and a slight delay in finishing the final matches due to the floodlights being turned off by mistake it was a successful night with a lot of close matches which is always good to see.

Straight to the top of the table on goal difference are Pique Blinders who proved to strong in the end for Crouch Potato winning 7-0 however the scoreline was a little harsh on Crouch Potato who played some great football and deserved a goal or two of their own. Breadrins Curse are joint second as they came through a tricky encounter with AFC Richmond to win 4-1. Sam Clark and Josh Wright with a brace each for Breadrins. Snorting Lesbian also secured a 4-1 victory as they beat Centurion. In other games Past It defeated Damo's Dynamo's 4-2 while Champagne Super Rovers narrowly edged out Shin and Tonic 2-1. Finally Oli Robins hit a hat-trick as Fish Fingers FC won a 7 goal thriller with Norfolk N Chance 4-3.

Thank you to all teams and see you next week. We are looking to split to 2 divisions of 8 at the end of this season so can accommodate 4 new teams. If you've missed out on entering you can still register your team at the link below. Just a £5 entry fee or contact Rich on 07969 731086 with any questions.
