New Gosport Wednesday 6 a side season gets underway!

In the first week of the season, the Gosport Wednesday 6-a-side football league kicked off with a flurry of action and stunning performances, featuring teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Suck Umtities took an early lead in the season with a 2-1 victory over Snatit FC, thanks largely to the standout performance of Thomas Day. Day netted twice for his team, earning him the top scorer's honour for the week in the Premier League. Elsewhere in the division, Lucky 7 defeated new team Shut The FAcup 6-1, while Mash Gobblers edged out The Backstreet Moyes in a high scoring 7-5 thriller.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Haven't Jota Clue secured a commanding 6-1 win over Solent United, led by a hat trick from top scorer Adam Hammacott. Murder On Zidanes Floor narrowly beat Bowen Arrows 3-2, while Fish Fingers FC scraped a 1-0 victory against Notinher Forest.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 also saw its share of action with Jewventus dominating the field with a 7-2 win over Queens Park Strangers. Aaron Speed-Phillips stood out with an impressive tally of 4 goals, making him the division's top scorer for the week. In the other matches, Heron United defeated Bikes In Kitchen 5-2, while AC Me Rollin secured a 2-0 victory over Vicious Villagers.

The new season has already hit the ground running, promising an exciting run with intense competition across all divisions. We will undoubtedly be eager to see how the season unfolds and whether the current top scorers can maintain their impressive form in the weeks to come.
