Title race too close to call in Calne six a side

It was another excellent night of football on Tuesday in the Leisure Leagues Calne six a side from The Beversbrook Sports Facility. There was excellent football played across the four matches. However, the match of the night saw The Rushes and TMT, two of the top teams in the league, play out a 3-3 draw. At the half way point of the season 3 teams are battling it out for the title with just a point separating them. 

In game 1 of the night the massively improved RichTeaWellens won a tight game against FC Calne Veterans 2-1 to take themselves into a solid fourth place in the league. In the other early kick off Dads recovered from losing to TMT the week before by beating Holo FC 4-1. They know that they probably have too much to do to get in amongst the title challenge but they will try and get as close as they can. In the first of the late kick offs The Rushes and TMT played out an excellent football match. Both teams came away thinking they could have won the game but in the end both had to settle for a point. The Rushes stay top just while TMT remain just a point behind. In the final game the other title challenger Fitness Box came through a tricky game against Netsix and Chill to close the gap on The Rushes. They are now level on points behind only on goal difference.
