Match Report- 12th September

The night was a successful one with every team showing up and playing some good football. Congratulations to Cooking with Ethan who are now officially champions and will be presented with the trophy next week. Red Bull coming close behind in second and being presented with their medals last night. However, the race for third spot is still on...

Lads on Toure 1 v 5 Red Bull Gives You Ings

Red Bull playing their last game together as a squad will feel like they did themselves proud with a comprehensive victory over Lads on Toure. Red Bull once again with nice passing football throughout the pitch and clinical when in front of goal. Lads on Toure at times showed that they could be up near the top of the league but just couldn't find the back of the net. Red Bull face  AFC Astro next week while Lads on Toure will try and climb back into the top half of the table when they take on FFFC. MOM- Nick Alexander

AFC Astro 2 v 5 Cescoffenders

Cescoffenders will be glad with this hard fought victory over AFC Astro. In what was an end to end game it came down to finishing of chances and a bit of extra quality which made the difference. AFC Astro did put up a fight and managed to peg Cescoffenders back however it was not enough in the end. The loss for AFC Astro sees them drop to fifth but they can put it right next week when they face league runners-up Red Bull. For Cescoffenders they take on Danny Dyers. MOM- Nathan Watson

Danny Dyers Chocolate Harmonculus 2 v 8 Cooking with Ethan

Danny Dyers return to league action after missing the last couple of weeks was not one for them to remember. With a make shift squad they found it hard to deal with the fast pace passing football and movement from the lads from Cooking with Ethan. They showed why they are champions in what was an easy victory and a professional performance. Next week sees the already crowned champions take on 1truesaxon and Danny Dyers face Cescoffenders. MOM- Matt Stevenson

1truesaxon 1 v 1 Peg Doesn't Pass

This game was tight and tense for most of it. Both teams didn't want to throw caution to the wind and defended resolutely. Chances in the game were limited and both teams will feel that they could off snatched the win at any point but overall a draw was probably a fair result. The point for 1truesaxon sees them move into third place and they can cement their spot even further when they take on champions Cooking with Ethan next week. Peg face a tricky test against new boys ScissormeTravis. MOM- Dave Harris

ScissormeTravis 2 v 5 FFFC

FFFC managed to gain a victory over the new boys to the league and showed style in doing so. FFFC were ruthless when attacking and managed to ease aside the young lads from ScissormeTravis. ScissormeTravis however did have their moments in the game scoring 2 good goals and also creating several more opportunities. Next week ScissormeTravis take on the lads from Peg Doesn't Pass while FFFC face Lads on Toure. MOM- Charlie O'Donnell
