Match Report- Tuesday 22nd August

A really good night of football with all teams in attendance apart from Balotellitubbies.

AFC Astro 1- 3 Lads on Toure

Lads on Toure finding some form at the business end of the season with an impressive display against the new boys AFC Astro. While AFC Astro have settled into the league well showing that they wont be a push over the experience of Lads on Toure eventually came through to see them home. The win for Lads on Toure moves them closer to the top half and he loss for AFC Astro sees them move down to fourth. Next week lads on Toure play Danny Dyers with AFC Astro facing league leaders Cooking with Ethan. MOM- James Staples

Red Bull gives you Ings 1 - 2 Peg Doesn't Pass

Peraphs the shock result of the night looking at the league table came in this game. Red Bull lacking some of their normal fast pace and clinical football were thwarted by some excellent keeping from the man between the sticks for Peg. However not taking anything away from the lads from Peg who more than matched up to Red Bull throughout and showed what they can do at their best. The win for Peg means they also move closer to the top half of the table and defeat for Red Bull means they fall 3 points behind the leaders. Peg face FFFC with Red Bull playing 1truesaxon. MOM- Dom Medley

Cooking with Ethan 5 v 1 FFFC

In this game Cooking with Ethan found their scoring boots from earlier on in the season creating good opportunities and managing to convert them. FFFC put up a good fight but it just wasn't good enough for our league leaders who have put space between themselves and the chasing pack with this win. As for FFFC the result leaves them in mid table but they will be looking to sneak into the medals when they play Peg next week. Cooking with Ethan play AFC Astro. MOM- Lewis Thompson

Danny Dyers Chocolate Harmonculus 5 - 0 The Balotelli Tubbies

With Balotelli Tubbies not showing up for their game thanks must go to the lads that were around that played a friendly against Danny Dyers. The friendly turned out to be a very good spectacle with Danny Dyers winning 7- 5. The win for Danny Dyers moves them up to eighth and the no show up leaves Balotelli Tubbies at the foot on the table. Danny Dyers face Lads on Toure next week with Balotelli Tubbies facing Cescoffenders.

Cescoffenders 2 - 4 1truesaxon

The inexperience of Cescoffenders showed tonight as they gave away two sloppy penalties which always put them on the back foot. 1truesaxon grew as the game went on and got the job done coming away with the two points. The win for 1truesaxon moves them up to third and when they play Red Bull next week they have the chance to go above them into the medals. The loss for Cescoffenders has meant they slip to ninth but will hope to get back to winning ways against Balotelli Tubbies next week. MOM- Euan Ault
