A wonderful season of 6-a-side football in the Beverley Monday league came to an end last this week, as we crowned our winners at the Bishop Burton College. 

The Premier League race was very close, but despite dropping points in the last game of the season, Champagne Super Rovers bagged the title by one point.

A terrific season for Beverley La Coruna saw them finish second, as they dismantled Viking Rangers in the final game 9-1, sending the latter down. 

All three final games in Division 1 were walkovers, but it was Jackson 5 who won the division and will be going up to the top flight alongside Inter Ya Nan, who finished second six points behind. 

Fat Fighters will be gutted about narrowly missing out on promotion, but they will be sure to challenge again next season.
