Beverley Monday 6-a-side: Recapping this week's games
The new season of the Beverley Monday 6-a-side league carried on with some more terrific games at the Bishop Burton College this week.
In the Premier League, Beverley La Coruna beat Viking Rangers 4-1 to climb into first place on goal difference. The Academy fell to second, but they remained level on points with a narrow 1-0 win over Champaigne Super Rovers in a tight game. Inter Peroni got off the mark for the campaign, as they beat Expected Toulouse 4-2.
Division 1 saw Fat Fighters cruise to a 5-0 win over Beaver Town FC, as Atik Cheese edged past Nutty Nutters for a 2-1 win for their first victory of the new season. Jackson 5 received a points match walkover.
