Beverley Monday 6-a-side: Results of the week
The Beverley Monday 6-a-side league produced some top-class action this week across both divisions at the Bishop Burton College football pitches.
In the Premier League, leaders Beverley La Coruna cruised to a 5-1 win over Expected Toulouse, while Champagne Super Rovers notched a 2-0 victory over Viking Rangers. They he Academy kept their pursuit of the top two spots going strong, beating Inter Peroni 3-0.
In Division 1, Atik Cheese broke into the promotion spots, crushing Dyslexia Untied 7-1. Jackson 5 remained imperious, beating Fat Fighters 6-0, which allowed Nutty Nutters to overtake the latter in the standings, after the Nutters dismantled Beaver Town 9-1.
