Bridgend Sunday Football League Kicks Off New Season

In a spectacular start to Bridgend Sunday Football League, the teams in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions showcased some exhilarating football games this week.

In the Premier League, Sons of Pitches came out all guns blazing, defeating Aldi By Coney with a score of 4-0. BLACKOUT BARBERS outpaced Netsix And Chill with a 7-2 victory, while Brackla Ballers showed no mercy, taking down Cherrys On Top 6-0. In a nail-biting match, AC Brackla and Tondu Vets shared the points with a 1-1 draw.

In Division 1, the competition heated up as Gwynfi MASSIVE narrowly beat Lidl By Lidl 2-1. Getafe Me Sister and TLFC ended their match with a 1-1 draw, while Valley Rams F.C. triumphed over Scoregasm FC with a 2-1 victory. Ambush stunned Brynteg Ballers with a 3-0 win, asserting their dominance on the field.

Division 2 was not any less competitive, with BOLD AFC securing a 2-1 win over Jet2 Holiday. FredHeads overcame Whomper Stomper FC 2-1 in a closely fought match. Hala Madrid edged out Steve's Fish Shop 2-1, while Real Sosobad delivered the surprise of the day, defeating IRON REAPERS FC 10-3 in a thrilling encounter.

As the season has just begun, the teams are still trying to find their footing, and these opening matches serve as an excellent opportunity for them to gauge their competition.
