Gosport Monday 6 a side returns after Christmas break!

Happy New Year to all our Gosport Monday 6 a side teams down at Bridgemary School. It was great to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas break. We welcomed new team Warnock Wanderers to the league last night while Bayern Bru were away until next week so lost their top of the table spot.

With Bayern Bru away it gave No Lungs the chance to go to the top of the table and they made sure of that with an impressive 6-0 win away at Bin FC, Tom Carter notching a hat-trick to send them top on goal difference. Fred West Ham sit a point behind the top two as they beat new boys Warnock Wanderers 8-1. Brexit Ballers also sit on five points as they won 4-2 at home to Lads On Toure, Lewis Jennings and George Lewry both scoring braces. Finally with Bayern Bru away FPG picked up a 5-0 win.

Thank you to Kiefer for taking over the supervisor role from Dave who is away for a few months and to our refs Floyd and Shane. Thanks to all of our captains and players and good luck next week.
