GOSPORT MONDAY 7 A SIDE END OF SEASON
CONGRATULTIONS TO OUR CHAMPIONS
PREMIER LEAGUE - LOST ROVERS
DIVISION ONE - REAL SOSOBAD
In an exciting conclusion to Gosport Monday's Football League, the final games of the season played out last night, marking week 10 of the keenly contested season. The league, which featured two divisions, Premier League and Division 1, produced some thrilling matches, resulting in the crowning of Lost Rovers and Real Sosobad as the divisional champions.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, reigning champions Lads On Toure battled our newly crowned champions Lost Rovers in a tightly contested game that ended in a 1 - 0 victory for Lads On Toure. The victory laid down a marking for next season but it wasn't enough to take the title away from Rovers who seal the Premier League with a total of 17 points off 8 wins, an impressive season.
DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, the action was equally entertaining. Bridgemary Ultras clashed with Queens Park Strangers in a match that ended in a 3 - 2 victory for the Ultras. Haven't Jota Clue and the champions Real Sosobad went head-to-head, with Real Sosobad defeating their opponents 4 - 1. Galatasaray UK couldn't stand the heat against Un Athletico Madrid, falling 4 - 0. After an intense season, Real Sosobad emerged as the winners of Division 1, amassing a maximum total of 20 points from 10 wins to cap the perfect season for them.
A special mention goes to Aiden Mills from Un Athletico Madrid who topped the scorer's chart in Division 1 with a total of 8 for the season to win the Golden Boot. The Premier League Golden Boot goes the Chris Athersmith who scored 7 this season, congratulations to both.
As the season wraps up, the teams will surely be reflecting on their performances and looking forward to the next season's challenge. Until then, congratulations to the victors, Lost Rovers and Real Sosobad, who have proven their mettle on the pitch in this season of the Gosport Monday Football League.
