GOSPORT MONDAY 7 A SIDE SEASON KICKS OFF!
Our highly anticipated Gosport Monday 7 a side Football League commenced its season with a thrilling display of footballing talent last night. The new 7-a-side league, renowned for its competitive spirit and fast-paced action, saw teams from the Premier League and Division 1 battle it out on match day 1. Now with 2 divisions and in a 7 a side format it made for some great games. Here's a results round up:
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Lads On Toure faced off against Bayern Bru in a tightly contested match. Despite their best efforts, Lads On Toure fell short, with champions Bayern Bru securing a 2-1 victory. Meanwhile, Fred West Ham displayed their dominance on the pitch, delivering a resounding 5-0 win against Brexit Ballers FC, Dan Stride scoring a brace as the former champions started the season with a bang. Always Sunny In Gosport picked up a 5-0 due to the remain space in the Prem, they played Brexit Ballers in a points game.
DIVISION ONE
Division 1 also witnessed some exhilarating encounters. Men Behaving Chadli emerged victorious with a narrow 3-2 win over Hanging By A Fred. Marv Gaye showcased his goal-scoring abilities for Men Behaving Chadli, finding the back of the net twice. In another closely fought match, Made In Chelsea secured a 2-1 triumph over Khedira Pin Drop with Turner and Lewis on the scoresheet for Chelsea. Finally there was yet another close game in Div 1 as Real Sosobad and Bin FC showcased their defensive prowess as they battled to a goalless draw.
As the season is just beginning, these early results set the stage for what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive campaign in both divisions. The teams are determined to leave their mark on the league, showcasing their talent and vying for the coveted championship title.
