Gosport Monday 7 a side news End Of Season

In an exhilarating conclusion to the Gosport Monday 7-a-side football league, Lost Rovers and Leavemyarcelona emerged as champions of Division 1 and Division 2 respectively.

Division 1
In Division 1, the match of the week was undoubtedly between Hoagie Chogie and Haven't Jota Clue, with the former clinching a narrow 3-2 victory. However, it was Lost Rovers who stole the show with a convincing 6-2 win over Van Brockhurst, securing their place at the top of the division with an impressive 10 points and 5 wins. Tyler Trotman of Haven't Jota Clue was the star performer, bagging a total of 2 goals to become the top scorer of the division.

Division 2
The action in Division 2 was no less thrilling, with Leavemyarcelona overcoming Neville Wears Prada 6-4 to win the division, also tallying 10 points from 5 games. WheresTheBaggio’s 5-1 victory over Dads On Tour was another highlight, largely thanks to Luke Edwards, who scored twice to become the top scorer in the division.

The final week of the season saw Athletico Moretti go down 1-0 to Chairman Supernova in a closely contested match, reflecting the competitive spirit and high standard of play characteristic of the season.

As we bid farewell to another successful season of the Gosport Monday league, the spectacular performances and sportsmanship displayed by all teams was truly commendable. The thrilling final week leaves players eagerly anticipating the next season.
