Gosport Monday 7 a side news - match day 2

In the exciting world of grassroots football, the Gosport Monday 7-a-side league revved further into its season with its second week of fierce competition yesterday. Division 1, saw a displays of prowess, grit and determination with some unexpected scorelines marking the night.

DIVISION ONE

To kick off the event, Bridgemary Ultras fell to a spirited Dragon These Balls team, losing 4-2. Despite their best efforts, the Ultras could not contain the Dragons' fire in a match that set the tone for the rest of the night.

HANGING BY A FRED found themselves on the wrong side of a 7-0 scoreline against Lads On Toure. The latter team's domination was largely thanks to Morgan Durow, who scored an impressive seven goals in a single outing, thereby establishing himself as the top scorer in Division 1 this week.

Galatasaray UK also had a tough night, losing 11-0 to leaders Lost Rovers who took full advantage of their chances to record a resounding victory. The match was a clear demonstration of Lost Rovers' attacking prowess.

The clash between Haven't Jota Clue and Queens Park Strangers was a tight contest that ended 3-2 in favour of Queens Park. The Strangers took their chances well, edging past their opponents in a game that could have gone either way.

The final game of the night saw Un Athletico Madrid lose 3-1 to Real Sosobad, completing a night of game-changing results that promise an engrossing season moving forward.
