Gosport Monday 7-a-side Football League served up a feast of goals and thrilling action in week 3 of competition as teams across two divisions battled for superiority.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Van Brockhurst emerged victorious against Gosport Lads And Dads with an impressive 4-1 scoreline. Meanwhile, NWO showcased offensive prowess in their 5-2 triumph over WheresTheBaggio, marking their territory in the race for the title. Lost Rovers defeated Neville Wears Prada 8-1 in a one-sided match. The division's spotlight was stolen by NWO's Scotty Ferguson, who scored a hat-trick, earning the top scorer accolade for the week.

DIVISION TWO

On the other hand, Division 2 witnessed its share of thrill and excitement. Haven't Jota Clue edged Bridge Blues FC 2-1 in a tightly contested match, while Goal Diggers outclassed Seven Shenanigans 4-1, signalling their intent for the season. Moreover, Dads On Tour ran riot against Freemans Gooners, scoring 6 goals and conceding just 2. The standout performer in this division was Louie Grundy of Haven't Jota Clue, who netted twice to steer his team to victory.

The performance of the week undoubtedly belonged to the top scorers Scotty Ferguson and Louie Grundy, who provided spectacular displays of their scoring prowess. Their performances have set the tone for a hotly contested season in both divisions.
