In an exciting week of football, the 6th round of matches of Gosport Monday 7-a-side Football league saw some fierce competition, especially in Division 1 and Division 2.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, we witnessed a thrilling draw between Exeter Gently and Gangstas Allardyce, with the score settling at 4-4. The high-octane match demonstrated the spirit of the game, and both teams exhibited commendable sportsmanship under pressure. Jack Fox, the top scorer from Exeter Gently, put up a stellar performance, netting two goals for his team. His exceptional skills and dedication have made him a player to watch out for in the ongoing league.
DIVISION TWO
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Dads on Tour secured a well-deserved victory over Van Brockhurst, with the final tally reading 2-1. In a match that kept spectators on the edge of our seats, the teams displayed strategic play, with Dads on Tour emerging victorious, thanks to their agile gameplay. Liam Gouge, who scored both goals for Dads on Tour, was the star of the game. His poise and precision on the field have established him as a force to be reckoned with in the league.
As the season progresses, teams from both divisions are expected to heighten the competition, making upcoming matches a must-watch for football enthusiasts. The determination of the players in action and the spectacular performances they have been delivering promises an exciting season ahead for the Gosport Monday 7-a-side football league.
