Gosport Monday 7 a side news - match day 8

In the exciting week 8 of the Gosport Monday 7-a-side football league, teams across Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out in another round of thrilling matches. As the season nears its close, the competition has intensified with only two weeks left.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Lost Rovers secured a narrow win over Exeter Gently with a scoreline of 1-0. The night's other encounter saw Spitroast Fc dominate WheresTheBaggio, netting 7 goals to their opponent's 2. Despite the high-scoring match.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 saw some exceptional football as well. Athletico Moretti fell to a 5-0 defeat against Chairman Supernova, with Brin Vincent shining as the top scorer of the division. He contributed a remarkable 3 goals to his team's tally, securing a comfortable victory. Haven't Jota Clue also had a successful outing, scoring 5 goals against Dads On Tour, who managed to put 2 past the post. The evening closed with Van Brockhurst triumphing over Real Sosobad, netting an impressive 7 goals to their opponent's 2.

With only two weeks left in the season, the competition is set to intensify as teams battle it out to secure their place in the table. We look forward to the final matches and the crowning of the top scorers for each division.
