Gosport Monday 7 a side news Week 9

In a thrilling week 9 of the Gosport Monday 7-a-side football league, sparks flew on both Division 1 and Division 2 fields, as teams fought tooth and nail for victory.


Division 1
In Division 1, it was a night of intense competition and high stakes. Freemans Gooners clashed with Dragon These Balls, resulting in a 4-2 victory for Dragon These Balls. There was no shortage of skill and strategy displayed by both teams, making it an electric game to watch. Following suit, Lost Rovers narrowly managed to defeat Van Brockhurst 2-1 in a tight match. NWO also displayed impressive tactics and coordination, securing a 2-1 win against Gosport Lads And Dads.

One of the most riveting performances in Division 1 was that of Callum Ure, of Lost Rovers, who with his exceptional prowess, managed to score a goal. His performance has placed him at the top of the score charts this week. His deft footwork and determination were the highlight of the match, leaving spectators and fellow players in awe.

Division 2
Over in Division 2, Haven't Jota Clue faced defeat from WheresTheBaggio in a 2-1 match. The main event of the evening was the match between Dads On Tour and Seven Shenanigans. Dads On Tour dominated the field, trouncing Seven Shenanigans with a remarkable 8-1 victory.

Star striker Liam Gouge of Dads on Tour took the spotlight, scoring a whopping 6 goals. His skill and precision were unmatched, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 2.

This week in the Gosport Monday league proved yet again why this competition is a highlight of local sports. It was a night of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and of course, exciting football. Fans are already eagerly anticipating the matches for next week.
