Weekly News from Sunday 23rd April

An excellent night of football on Sunday saw all teams in attendance as expected, with the exception of Borussia Teeth. As this is the second successive week the team have failed to attend their game, the team have now been removed from the league.

We were also extremely disappointed to hear of disciplinary issues in the match between Stratton Oakmont FC and FC United Of Chesterfield. After Jack Davis from Stratton Oakmont headbutted an opponent, he has received a permanent ban and £50 fine. The team have also been removed from the league.

Meanwhile Luke Baker from FC United Of Chesterfield has received a £20 fine and one week ban after receiving a red card in the same match for persistent and deliberate fouls.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
