Weekly News from Sunday 7th May

A terrific night of football on Sunday saw all teams in attendance as expected, with the exception of Queens Park Strangers. We will be in contact with the team captain to confirm they will be back as normal next week.

We were also disappointed to hear of an incident in the game involving FC United Of Chesterfield. Luke Baker from FC United Of Chesterfield has received a £10 fine after getting a yellow card for persistent fouling in the match.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly. 

Finally, we would like to congratulate new side Lads On Toure, who made a winning start to the league on Sunday. After securing a magnificent 1-0 victory in their first match, the team are already said to be looking forward to their next game.
