Burntwood Monday Night saw another thrilling week of action as teams battled it out in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. Excitement filled the air as the matches unfolded, with some remarkable performances on display.
In the Premier League, BELT FC secured a hard-fought victory against The CTL Elite, emerging as 6-4 victors in a high-scoring affair. A star-studded Match of the Day indeed!
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Soup King FC dominated the pitch, securing an emphatic 8-0 victory against 2 Goals 1 Cup. Their relentless attacking prowess saw them soar to the top of the division. Not far behind, Wheel FC showcased their skills by notching a convincing 7-1 win over Sheffield Monday. Some painful results right there! Harriers and FC Prodigies engaged in a tight battle, with FC Prodigies eventually edging out a 2-1 victory. This keeps up their pace in the race to the top!
In Division 2, Fat Knacker And Co continued their impressive form, demolishing Unathletico Madrid with a resounding 8-0 victory. Their clinical finishing was on full display, making them the top scorers in this division. WIP FC also produced a dominant performance, defeating The Wastemen with a comfortable 5-0 win. Not In Ya Mums Forest secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Kepa Clean Sheet, while Patty Freaks FC cruised to a 7-0 triumph over Big Nobbs.
A big shout out to the teams that also participated in this week's friendlies. As of next week, we hope to have not 1 - but 2 brand new teams in our league meaning we shall be turning up the tempo and the fun!!
