Play in the Burntwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling week 13 of the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side football league, fans were treated to an electrifying display of teamwork, endurance, and skill across all divisions.

Premier League action saw The Gradient narrowly best our newest team! - Victoria FC 1-0 in a nail-biting match. Not a bad way to start... However, it was Pete Always Scores Bangers who stole the spotlight with an impressive 6-1 triumph against Leave Me Arcelona, marking themselves as a team to watch. The star striker of the evening was Pete himself of course haha!

Division 1 featured some equally intense matches. Sheffield Monday pulled off a stunning 6-2 victory over 2 Goals 1 Cup, while Chasetown Seniors secured a 5-3 win against Harriers. Not bad against the agilic young-uns considering their age However!

However, the standout performance came from Norfolkinchance, who earned a hard-fought 3-1 win over Soup King FC. This was a real entertaining fixture with the notorious rivalry between these two teams, bragging rights head back off the East Anglia I guess!?

Finally, Division 2 didn't disappoint with some high-scoring games. Fat Knacker And Co routed The Wastemen 6-1, while Boat Inn Rovers dominated Unathletico Madrid 7-1. Fabulous to see them picking up their first win finally FC! FC managed to keep a clean sheet against Kepa Clean Sheet, winning 4-0. Plenty of white washes go be seen here then!

This week's matches have certainly set the stage for an exciting second half of the season. All teams will be eager to improve their standings, and we can't wait to see what the remainder of the season brings. It's clear that the Burntwood Monday 6-a-side football league continues to showcase some of the best local talent.
