The 12th week of the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football League left spectators on the edge of their seats as teams battled it out under the floodlights. The Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 were on fire with high-intensity matches, goal-scoring parties, and nail-biting finishes.
In the Premier League, The Gradient showcased their dominance with a 6-0 victory over Boys To Men. Reminding them of just how harsh the top tier can be. Burntwood FC also asserted their supremacy with a 9-3 smashing victory against Trooper FC. After a considerable stint, this was their last piece of action in the top flight - they have now been manually swapped into the brand new/available Div1 place.
Division 1 also had its share of exciting action. FC Prodigies shut out 2 Goals 1 Cup with a 4-0 triumph. WIP FC rolled over Sheffield Monday with a 5-1 win, displaying a great team effort.
Wheel FC was the showstopper of the evening, clinching a 7-0 victory over Poms United. The latter now being finally switched into the lowest group of teams. Meanwhile, in a tight contest, Harriers edged out Fat Knacker And Co 1-0, proving that every goal counts. Unbelieveably, this was our one and only close-call of the night!!
Norton FC and Scrambled Legs stole the spotlight in Division 2. Norton FC defeated MONDAY WARRIORS 7-3 in our 10 goal thriller of a MotD! Meanwhile Scrambled Legs overwhelmed Unathletico Madrid with a 9-1 victory.
In further events - Kepa Clean Sheet, Patty Freaks FC, and Not In Ya Mums Forest also claimed victories, keeping their competition fierce.
The top goal scorers were Burntwood FC in the Premier League, Wheel FC in Division 1, and Scrambled Legs in Division 2. They set the bar high, showcasing exceptional talent and skill.
